Yes, you read that right. Starting now, Afroyla is giving away $5,000 each to two phenomenal sisters in our community — one who already owns an Afroyla bag, and one who doesn’t yet.

As a gift of support, recognition, and love — for the women who rise, slay, and show up for life every single day.

This month, we’re honored to award @_tyjack with the $5,000 Rise & Slay Grant.

After surviving a serious accident that left her without transportation for months and impacted her physical mobility, @_tyjack showed resilience beyond words. As a salon owner, licensed cosmetologist, and influencer — she’s rebuilding her life and business with determination and grace.

Her story reminds us of what the Rise & Slay Fund is truly about — strength, hope, and rising again.

✨ What’s New: $10,000 Fund

So many women shared their stories. And one whisper turned into a movement.

That’s why — starting this October — we’re expanding the Rise & Slay Fund to $10,000/month, with two $5,000 grants:

• 💼 For Afroyla Sisters: One winner who owns a bag and shared her story wearing it.
• 🌱 For Future Sisters: One winner who hasn’t owned an Afroyla bag yet — but shares her rise & slay story anyway.

Two stories. Two stages of the journey. One sisterhood.

📸 How to Enter

If You Own an Afroyla Bag:

• Post a photo or video of yourself with your Afroyla bag or wallet on Instagram.
• In your caption, tell us your story: a challenge, a lesson, or how you RISE & SLAY daily.
• Use the hashtags #RiseAndSlay and #Afroyla. Tag @Afroyla.handbags.
• Optional: Email your post to michelle@afroyla.com so we don’t miss it.

If You Don’t Own a Bag Yet:

• Post a photo or video of yourself — any photo where you feel strong, beautiful, or proud.
• In your caption, tell us your story: your journey, your resilience, your dreams.
• Use the same hashtags: #RiseAndSlay and #Afroyla. Tag @Afroyla.handbags.
• Email your post to michelle@afroyla.com and mention that you don’t yet own a bag.

Deadline: Submit by the 25th of each month.
Winners: Announced at the end of the month.

How We Choose the Winners

Every month, our team gathers to read every entry — every photo, every caption, every story.

We’re not looking for perfection. We’re looking for truth, heart, and spirit.

Before the 30th of each month, we’ll choose:

• 1 winner who owns an Afroyla bag and shares her Rise & Slay story while carrying it.
• 1 winner who doesn’t yet own a bag but shares her journey with boldness and heart.

We’re honoring courage over polish. And soul over likes.

The two selected women will each receive a $5,000 gift — to support their next chapter.
